Addressing Requests for Additional or Updated Documents in the Onboard+ Lender Portal

Additional documents or updated documents may be requested by Borrowers from time to time. Here is how to address these requests.

When Borrowers submit requests, they will be visible in the Requests section of the Onboard+ Lender Portal. By clicking on the Request, you can view the Actions that have been requested.

Upon reviewing the request, it is apparent that the borrower has declined the document due to its unclear or obscured nature.

Upon clicking on the Action, a popup will appear with the options to either Ignore the request or Update the document.

When you click on Update, you will be presented with two options: to either Select Files or Add as URL.

To upload a file, simply click on Select Files to open File Explorer and choose the file you want to upload. Alternatively, if you have a URL (link) to a publicly hosted file, you can select Add as URL to include it in the request.

Please note:

Two issues that can occur when adding urls are as follows:

1. The URL domain might not be listed. If so, you will need to contact Support in order to get the domain added to the list of approved domains.

2. The URL might not be pointing to an image or a supported document format. Please note the supported file types.

A url to a supported file will typically have that file type at the end of the url. For example in case the url ends in ".pdf".

This suggests that the URL leads to a .PDF file, which is one of the supported file types.

As the original document was added a file and was rejected, this time the Lending Agent decides to use "Add as URL" to add the document. The url is pasted into the url field. The green check icon indicates that both of the above conditions have been met and the "Add document to request" button has been enabled

The last step is to click on "Consent and Share" to complete the process.
