Initiating Correspondence in the Onboard+ Borrower Portal

If a borrower needs to get in touch with a Lending Agent during their interaction, they can easily do so by utilizing the New Correspondence feature within a workflow.

A workflow is a set of tasks that must be performed in a specific sequence.

Even though the workflow outlines the next task in the process, there might arise a situation where contacting the Lending Agent is necessary for other reasons. To do so, simply click on "New Correspondence" located in the top right corner of the workflow menu.

 

Upon clicking "New Correspondence" in the top right corner of the workflow menu, a popup will display with two essential fields that must be filled out: the Subject and the Message. Additionally, there are checkboxes that allow you to mark the message as Urgent or indicate that no response is needed.

 

Once you have filled out the Subject and Message fields and clicked on "Send," a confirmation will appear indicating that the new correspondence has been successfully sent to the Lending Agent.

 

By clicking on the Correspondence icon in the vault and navigating to the Sent tab, you can view the message that was sent and see that it was marked as "Urgent".

 

After the Lending Agent has replied, a pink notification bubble appears and the reply is visible in the Inbox tab. The status of the message is Unread.

 

To keep the conversation going, simply click on the reply from Green Acres and type your response in the text field labelled "Type something".
