Linking vaults in the valid8Me Vault Hub

Local and Online vaults can be linked in valid8Me using the Link option for a vault

Once you have created a local vault for a client and potentially gathered some documents on your own, you may find it necessary to reach out to the client for additional documentation. You can initiate this process by clicking the Source Documents button located in the top right corner.

However, please note that this action will only create an online vault and will not establish a connection between the local and online vaults.

To link both vaults together, you must utilise the Link/Invite to valid8Me function found in the menu on the right side of the vault.

The following information will appear:

Please note:

If an Online Vault & Local Vault are linked, the documents in the local vault you have uploaded will only be visible by you.

Upon clicking OK, you will see a subsequent popup notification.

Warning

Please do not use the option for Third Party unless the client/customer/counterparty is managed by a third party. This third party can manage the KYC on behalf of multiple clients/customers/counterparties.

Once you click Next, enter the client's email address and choose the specific Product or Service you are offering to them.

Verify that the listed required documents are accurate, and make any necessary adjustments using the Edit function. You also have the option to include a Description, which can provide your client with context regarding the document request. Additionally, you can attach files either from your device or from the local vault.

Upon selecting Confirm, a popup notification will appear, informing you that your request will be sent to the specified email address. You will be prompted to verify that you wish to proceed with this action.

Please note:

If the user accepts, the Local Vault you have created will be linked to that user.

Once you click "Yes, I am," the online vault will be visible in the Vault Hub, marked with the status "Requesting".

Please note:

The online vault can be unlinked using the menu on the right

It can also be done from the menu for the local vault

It is also possible that you have already established a connection with a client and created an online vault. In such cases, if you wish to create a local vault to store documents that you have sourced independently, you can easily do so by selecting the "Create Local Vault" option from the menu located on the right side of the vault.

Choose the appropriate customer category for the vault.

Input the client's details as demonstrated in the previous example. You will also have the opportunity to include optional information before proceeding to click on Confirm.

After the vault has been created it can be unlinked or deleted.
