Utilising the incremental response feature to request documents when creating your Product/Service

When developing a Product or Service, you have the option to utilise the incremental response feature, which allows you to specify how you would like the customer to respond to actions, either individually or in batches.

You have the freedom to decide whether you would like to request all the documents together in a batch or separately for each document. If the Incremental Response feature is not enabled, the documents will be requested all at once. To request the documents individually, you will need to enable the incremental response feature. You can find the Incremental Response toggle when you create a Product/Service in the "Basic Information" area, as shown below.

 

As part of your due diligence, you may find it necessary to request these three documents.

 

To verify if incremental response has been enabled for a specific Product/Service, you can simply click on the edit button when requesting documents.

 

It is evident that incremental response has been enabled in this particular case.

 

Once you have sent the request to the client, the requirements for the requested documents will be displayed in the following manner in their Customer Portal.

 

To begin the process, the client is required to upload the initial document and grant consent to authorise the sharing of the document.

 

The client will then be able to view that there are two more documents that need to be uploaded and consent granted. They can repeat the same process for the remaining two documents.

 

If Incremental Response is not enabled for a specific Product/Service and the same three documents are requested, they will be displayed in a different manner in the customer portal.

 

In this case, you will notice that all three documents have been consolidated and presented as a single group.

 

All three documents need to be uploaded and consent must be granted for all of them simultaneously.
